Certified Commissioning Professional
The CCP™ designation
was created to raise professional standards and provide a
vehicle for certification in the building commissioning industry.
The mark of a dedicated and goal-oriented commissioning professional,
the benefits of this accreditation include:
- a competitive advantage,
- professional growth and development,
- enhanced professional credibility, and
- great job opportunities.
To earn the CCP designation, participants must
complete an application that is reviewed by the Building
Commissioning Certification Board and pass a comprehensive
two-hour examination.
Eligibility
To be eligible for certification you must:
- have a high school diploma, GED, or higher-level degree;
- have
at least 36 continuous months of experience
as a commissioning-services provider in a lead project
role (within 5 years preceding the date of application);
and
- satisfy the requirements for experience as outlined
in the Candidate
Bulletin.
Certification Process
To become a Certified Commissioning Professional:
- Fill out the CCP
program application and
pay the required application fee.
- Submit your application to the Building Commissioning
Certification Board (BCCB), who must approve your application
to advance you to candidacy.
- Pass the certification examination.
