Resources and Information
The California Chapter was founded in 2011 when the California members from the Southwest Chapter split and formed their own chapter. The separation from the Southwest Chapter allowed the newly formed Chapter leadership to focus on serving the membership in California better and to hold local and regional events in California. Our vision is to become the preeminent building commissioning organization in California and enrich the proficiency and practice of members of the Building Commissioning Association and the public. The mission is to improve and further the practice of building commissioning, and through its professional development programs, marketing efforts, by advocating the BCxA best practices, and the creation of economic and business conditions for building commissioning.
Lunch and Learn Series by PG&E Energy Centers
Tue Jan 25, 2022 - Wed Mar 09, 2022
Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) tools are becoming a standard part of building operations, and there are now dozens of products available for customers who want to utilize FDD. This demonstration series will feature 15 of these products. Each one-hour lunch and learn presentation in the series will include a brief overview of the capabilities of the FDD platform, and then provide a demonstration of the software using an actual facility. The demonstration will highlight how the FDD program is modified to specific buildings, systems, and customer requirements. The FDD developers will feature faults their software tools identify, the user interface, and graphic outputs the tools produce.
This series is a follow-up to a training offered on FDD on October 12, 2021 that is available on-demand here.
More information and links to register for all sessions, or select a few, is available through this webpage: Fault Detection and Diagnostics Series.
