Northeast Region

Welcome to the BCxA Northeast Chapter. The Chapter is made up of over 135 members within 8 states, including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Our members are comprised of commissioning providers, building owners, and contractors who promote the whole building commissioning approach according to BCxA Essential Attributes.

The Northeast Chapter of BCxA was originally created in 2005. The primary focus of this chapter is to promote the professional development of its members, encourage and promote the acceptance of the building commissioning as a normal activity of the design and construction process, and to educate the design professionals, facility owners, and the construction industry in the practices and benefits of the commissioning process.

The Northeast Chapter serves an eight-state region, and the challenge is to bring value to our members wherever they are, whenever they need it. Our goals for 2024 include:

Increase in-person attendance at events
Coordinate events with other industry organizations

This event provides an opportunity to meet the new and returning board members, hear about 2024 accomplishments of BCxA and the chapter, and discuss chapter goals and activities for the new year. The meeting provides a great way to connect with and be part of the commissioning community. This year we'll also be hosting a happy hour immediately following the meeting! We had such a wonderful time with the real time energy management (RTEM) panel at our annual summit this year, we wanted an opportunity to expand on that exciting discussion and provide a space for all parties to continue networking. We hope to see you there!
