Serving British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon since its founding in 2011, the BCxA Western Canada Chapter has been working to unite the various commissioning providers, designers, and technical trades. By working within the mandate of the BCxA, our goal is to promote and demonstrate the benefits of commissioning throughout the construction industry through a collaborative approach to all aspects of building commissioning.
To this end, we have started developing a number of different networking opportunities and forums where ideas can be shared freely for the benefit of the industry as a whole. This has opened up a number of new dialogues between the design teams, building owners, and commissioning providers that will serve to improve the quality of all projects.
The National Conference for Building and Facility Operations is an annual Canadian conference that has been hosted in alternating year by the Western and Eastern Canadian Chapters since 2014. NCBFO 2023 will be the leading forum for individuals interested in the continuous improvement in operations of buildings and facilities.
