Liz Fischer

Liz Fischer,

Executive Director

Liz has been active in the energy efficiency, conservation, and building commissioning industries for more than 30 years. Like the BCxA, which she has represented since 2007, she is dedicated to the advancement of building commissioning and the professionals who practice it. Liz represents the BCxA in regional and global advocacy for best practices in standards and guidelines for commissioning the built environment. She is responsible for managing and implementing the BCxA’s strategies and policies, and direction of committees focused on best practices, education and training, professional development, marketing and outreach, and membership. Liz is also responsible for administration and daily operations of the Association, its chapters, and its education arm (BCxA University), as well as leading administration of the BCxA Scholarship Foundation. Liz championed the effort to achieve ANSI/ISO 17024 accreditation for the Building Commissioning Certification Board’s designation of Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP). She was a co-creator of the National Conference on Building Commissioning (NCBC), now the Annual BCxA Conference. Prior to her current BCxA role, Liz was a Senior Program Manager at PECI, where she participated in the firm’s development and management of commissioning programs, research, and training.

Sheri Adams

Sheri Adams,

Member Relations Manager

Sheri has been with the Association since 2007. She has been active in the association management industry for the last 12 years. As Member Relations Manager, she works with our Chapters and Committees to implement the Association’s programs and services that benefit the Members and meet strategic and operational goals. She is responsible for the accuracy of membership records and crafting membership campaigns. In addition, Sheri also serves as staff liaison on the Membership Committee, Professional Development Committee, and Conference Committee. She oversees the front office and all administrative contracts for the Association, including office lease, equipment lease, and temporary personnel services. Prior to her current BCxA role, Sheri was a Project Coordinator at PECI working with utility clients and small associations that were managed by PECI.

Aimée Brown

Aimée Brown,

Program Manager

Aimee joined the BCxA in 2015. In her role as the Certification Manager she maintains program materials and program operations for the Building Commissioning Certification Board (BCCB). Activities include all candidate communications for the three certifications on new and renewing applications and BCCB Board meetings. Prior to her current BCxA role, Aimee was a Senior Project Manager at CLEAResult working with utility clients in the residential market to implement energy efficiency retail programs.

Nicole Gardner

Nicole Gardner,

Marketing and Events Manager

Nicole joined the BCxA Headquarters team in 2019 and serves as the Marketing and Events Manager. Nicole came to BCxA with a background in communications, sales, and business development, as well as a history of working with associations. She participates in the Marketing and Outreach, Advocacy, and Annual Conference Planning committees, where she has the opportunity to collaborate with BCxA members and leaders. She also holds the unofficial title of BCxA photographer/videographer/graphic designer.
