Be Part of NEEA’s Paid NW Commissioning Market Survey

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), which provided funding to help start up the BCxA more than 20 years ago, has conducted a commissioning market study of the NW region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana) annually for six years. The Cx survey enables NEEA to track and report on total commissioning square footage for the region and by state, identify Cx trends, and estimate energy savings – in 2017 these totaled 24 million kWh! Check out the report here.

Before December 31st, 2018, NEEA invites you to complete a paid survey if your firm provided whole-building, energy-focused commissioning services in the Northwest in 2018, and —to your knowledge–no one else at your firm has yet completed the survey this year. If you’ve already completed the survey, thank you! If not, please join in.

We know your time is valuable, so we are offering respondents a $150 Visa gift card for completing the survey before December 31st, 2018. This survey should take approximately 20 minutes. As always, individual results always remain anonymous. Opportunities exist to engage in a longer-term agreement with NEEA for enhanced incentive levels for your firm. Please email the contacts linked below to inquire.

The benefits of participation include:

  1. Boost your firm’s reputation as a participant in the study (if you indicate in the survey to publish your firm’s name in the 2018 report)
  2. Help the effort to track energy savings and gain insight into market trends such as commissioning project types and typical project cost per square foot
  3. Help NEEA increase building owner and developer awareness of commissioning

NEEA and the BCxA greatly appreciate your participation. If you have questions about the survey, please feel free to reach out to Jennifer Stout at NEEA (503/516.7370) or Kaitlyn Teppert at Cadmus Group (303/389.2530). Thank you in advance!
