BCxA Presents Value of EBCx – Building Data and Market Survey

At the ASHRAE Annual Conference this week, BCxA President Tom Poeling presented an overview of EBCx-specific building data, along with snippets of our forthcoming market study results, from the Value of Commissioning study conducted in partnership with Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL).

Among the conclusions are that EBCx energy savings, outside of utility programs, could range between 10-25%.

The top four reasons for implementing EBCx are essentially the same, with the top 5 measures accounting for 95% of all measures implemented. As shown in the image here, the EBCx Presentation provides an overview of EBCx measures identified in the study.
