It’s exciting to see that Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) selected BCxA International Board member Tracey Jumper as a winner of the “40 Under 40” competition. A short bio, along with her photo, are available in CSE’s digital magazine on page 14. We thought you’d also want to know that they left out two very important things we all love about Tracey: (1) the other narrative below, and (2) the other photo, below.

“She likes connecting with other women to exchange the best construction and engineering female-friendly clothes, shoes and tools. Her hidden talent: fixing all sorts of things, from dishwashers to sliding doors, from restaurant toilets to washing machines. She dedicates this recognition to her dog, Tangent, the most valiant engineering sidekick that ever was.”

The 2020 40-Under-40 candidates were nominated by a professional colleague or mentor and judged by industry experts based on nine areas, including their commitment to superiority in their academic, professional, personal and community involvement.

In the May print edition and online, Consulting-Specifying Engineer honored each of these young professionals, highlighting qualities that led him/her to sustained success, recent professional projects and personal achievements.

Winners will be presented with their award at a ceremony in Chicago in October 2020.

“If the technical expertise, breadth of experience and confident attitudes don’t impress you, then the dedication given to mentoring, the community and family certainly will,” said Amara Rozgus, Editor-in-Chief of Consulting-Specifying Engineer. “Now in its 13th year, the 2020 40 Under 40 winners are more creative, focused and passionate than most professionals at the early phases of their career, leading them to succeed in their respective professions.”
