The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Smart Energy Analytics Campaign is coming to a close after four years. During this Campaign, supported by the BCxA as an Organizing Partner, LBNL has developed a more consistent, standardized approach, “Field Evaluation Protocol v2.0,” for Energy Management and Information Systems (EMIS). EMIS are combined hardware and software products that comprise a broad range of analytics functionality and services to manage commercial building energy use, and assessing the energy and non-energy benefits of EMIS solutions.

The report on the third year of data collected from Campaign participants is accessible here. The report describes their savings and energy efficiency measures taken in over 500 million sq ft of floor area that are implementing EMIS. Also included in the report are the energy savings and cost data for FDD and EIS projects implemented by Campaign participants.

LBNL is currently preparing the last report of EMIS Outcomes from the Campaign and will present results in a webinar in the Fall.
