Commissioning Engineer – Western United States
CriticalArc is seeking qualified individuals for a Commissioning Engineer position to support projects throughout the Western United States. Positions range from entry level Commissioning Engineer I through a Senior Commissioning Engineer.
Minimum Qualifications
Commissioning Engineer I:
- BS degree in an engineering or construction related field.
- OR
- 3 years of relevant field experience.
Commissioning Engineer II:
BS degree in an engineering or construction related field.
- +2 years of related field experience
- OR
- 5 years of relevant field experience.
Commissioning Engineer III:
BS degree in an engineering or construction related field.
- +5 years of related field experience
- OR
- 8 years of relevant field experience.
Senior Commissioning Engineer:
- BS degree in an engineering or construction related field.
- +8 years of related field experience
- OR
- 11 years of relevant field experience.
Other Desired Qualifications (All Levels)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Mechanical or Electrical Commissioning background is preferred.
- Strong computer/technology skills are a plus.
- Desire to travel.
Responsibilities
- Writing Cx checklist & functional scripts
- Performing technical design & submittal reviews
- Verifying contractor progress
- Leading & coordinating functional testing & reporting findings

Travel
This is a full-time position, which may require significant travel depending on home/project location. When not required to be onsite, employees have the ability to work from home. Relocation assistance is available.
Compensation
- Cx Engineer I: $75,000-$90,000
- Cx Engineer II: $90,000-$115,000
- Cx Engineer III: $110,000-$140,000
- Senior Cx Engineer: $130,000-$160,000
