Commissioning Professional - Various Texas locations

Bath Group, Inc. is seeking to add to its team a Commissioning Professional to support our team throughout Texas and the United States as projects arise. We are seeking a professional in the following Texas locations: Corpus Christi, El Paso, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
- Must be or be working to obtain a CCP or CxA Certification.
- 10 to 20 years of Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design Experience.
- Knowledgeable of:
Building Commissioning Industries.
Mechanical and electrical systems in large buildings.
IBC codes, ASHRAE, and Cx Standards.
Instructional Construction Contracting/Processes.
Multiple Building Automation Systems operation and architecture. - Willing to travel up to 50%.
- Able to pass government background check for access to military bases.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
Qualified individual must be able to:
- Manage commissioning projects from award through warranty and be the Client Liaison.
- Support engineering staff with design reviews of drawings, specifications, and building controls.
- Review construction submittals for compliance with the design intent and controls interface.
- Generate all Cx documentation using our online database and can create all documentation required for a successfully commissioned project.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and the system’s ability to collect building performance data.
- Review data sets generated by a BAS and determine equipment and building performance.
- Perform all pre-functional, functional, and integrated system tests independently with minimal training on control systems.
- Perform Business Development tasks such as client outreach and proposal writing.
- Promote or fill Principal role in the future.
