HVAC Test and Balance / Commissioning Specialist

Prepare TAB plans and take-offs.
Prepare templates, documentation, and calculations for testing of systems.
Assist with commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.
Assist in-depth functional testing of complex engineered systems.
Assist team meetings, plan and manage schedule for acceptance testing team.
Analyze testing results and evaluate proper and optimized operations of complex engineered systems. Provide support for our HVAC design services, related to TAB issues.
Desire to develop knowledge, skills and abilities in the trade, and advance in a career in the commissioning industry.
Demonstrates exceptional project management skills.
Prioritizes effectively, have strong follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally.
Possesses a thorough understanding of HVAC system concepts.
Communication and interpersonal skills for clear and effective support research, recommendations and pricing.
Strong technical writing skills.
Time management and strong prioritization skills to meet tight turnaround and bid deadlines.
Able to lead pursuit and estimating activities on a large or complex pursuit project.
Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, and Word
Willingness to travel
Prior NEBB or AABC or NBC TAB certification preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferred. EIT preferred
2 years of experience on commercial TAB projects (is a plus).
